It began in the late 1990s with the idea of creating a “take-away” wine glass for clients attending quarterly presentations at the radio station where I worked. My daughter painted musical notes on the first glasses, and soon I began painting, too. I gravitated toward dots rather than notes—and Dots Crazy was born.
I use Pebeo glass paints, known for their durability once cured by baking in the oven for 40 minutes. Larger dots require extra patience, as they are prone to dripping, so each piece rests in a box for a full day while I move on to painting something new.
My work explores a variety of themes, including Confetti, Barcelona, Waves, Ombre, and Wandering.
Currently my glassware is sold at:
Mr Millers Art Emporium in Douglas, Michigan
LaGrange Art League in LaGrange, Illinois
Naperville Art League in Naperville, Illinois
